As we wrap up 2011, I was thinking about what an incredible period in history we are experiencing. I am not thinking about the last 50 years of computer advancements or the last 25 years of the world wide web. I’m thinking about the last 8 years of communication advancements.
It’s amazing that almost every form of communication we use today did not exist or has been radically changed in just the past eight years.
The way we receive and deliver information has changed forever. The question is how long will it last? Think about the following timeline.
It's unbelievable that in our lifetime we may see the decline of almost every sector of communication that thrived just 15 years ago: newspapers, print advertising, land-line telephones, the postal service, standard television and even how we watch movies has changed. Some even predict the fall of email.
As we continue to embrace the way the world communicates, Idea Engine has evolved along with it. We have grown to the point that the current company name, Idea Engine, no longer fits. Effective January, 1, 2012, Idea Engine will officially change its name to SyncShow Interactive!
Why the change?
No we did not sell the company. No we do not have new management. What we do have is a new attitude about growing our clients and making them as fit as possible in their online communication strategy! Our team has new tools, expanded expertise and a new focus on measurable results. We felt these changes, both internally and externally, warranted a new go to market strategy and an enhanced brand position for our company.
SyncShow Interactive will focus on web, mobile and social communications to help you, our customers, friends and partners to communicate more effectively in today’s ever-changing digital communication landscape.
As we usher in this new brand and take on the next chapter of our business we would also like raise a glass to you, our customer and wish you all a Happy Holidays and a prosperous 2012!
